These terms cover floor models reserved on this site. You pay the balance in store, then collect the piece or book delivery.
Pickup
- Collect the piece from the showroom it’s at, once you’ve paid the balance.
- Please allow one business day after you pay for us to get it ready. Beds and sofas have their screws removed and are packed properly so they travel safely.
- Please collect it, or have it delivered, within 7 days of paying the balance, unless you agree another date with the showroom.
- Floor models are supplied plastic wrapped, not in original packaging. Bring a vehicle that fits, and your own straps, rope and covers: we don’t supply them.
- Bring your tax invoice or order confirmation. If someone else is collecting for you, tell the showroom first.
- Pickup is during showroom hours: Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 9am–4pm, Sun 10am–3:30pm. See showroom addresses.
Delivery
- Delivery is booked and paid in store when you pay the balance, at our standard delivery rates, which depend on the item and where it’s going. Free delivery offers on thea2zfurniture.com don’t apply to floor models.
- Delivery is to ground level or the front garage. For an upstairs delivery, ask the showroom for a quote.
- Beds and sofas arrive taken apart for transport. Put them back together yourself, or book our optional paid assembly service in store when you book delivery.
- Please check the piece will fit through every doorway, hallway, stairwell and corner on the way in. The showroom team can help you measure it.
- If no one is home at the agreed time, we’ll contact you to arrange another delivery, and extra charges may apply.
- The delivery charge isn’t refundable if you change your mind. If a piece is faulty and you’re entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, the refund includes the delivery charge.
Risk and ownership
The piece becomes yours once the balance is paid in full. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or your carrier collect it from the showroom, or when it’s delivered to your address. If you arrange your own carrier, risk passes when the piece is loaded.
