Overview

This website is operated by The A2Z Furniture Pty Ltd (ABN 18 163 199 979), 77 Randolph St, Rocklea QLD 4106 ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site or reserving a piece, you agree to these terms, our refund policy, our deposit and hold terms and our privacy policy.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online platform that lets us take your deposit.

1. What this site sells

  • Every piece on this site is a one-off ex-display floor model at one of our showrooms: Rocklea, Beenleigh or North Ipswich.
  • Online, you pay a deposit to reserve a piece. The piece itself is bought in store, after you inspect it, when you pay the balance by cash or card.
  • Floor models are not available on payment plans or pay-later options.

2. Reservations and deposits

  • The deposit, hold period, extensions, refunds and store credit are set out in our deposit and hold terms and refund policy.
  • Each piece can only be reserved by one customer at a time. Because pieces are also on our showroom floors, a piece may sell in store at the same time as it is reserved online. If we can't sell you a piece you have reserved, we refund your deposit in full.
  • We may refuse or cancel a reservation, for example if a piece is listed with an obvious pricing error. If we do, we refund your deposit in full.

3. Product information and prices

  • We describe each piece and its condition as accurately as we can, and photograph the actual floor model where possible. Colours on screen can differ from the real piece, which is why we ask you to inspect it before paying the balance.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Display prices can change, but the price shown when you reserve is the price you pay for that piece.
  • The "new" price shown is our current price for the same item new on thea2zfurniture.com.

4. Pickup and delivery

  • You collect the piece from its showroom once the balance is paid, or book delivery in store at our standard delivery rates. See pickup and delivery.
  • Floor models are supplied plastic wrapped, not in original packaging. Please allow one business day after you pay the balance for us to pack the piece for pickup. Beds and sofas have their screws removed and are packed properly so they travel safely.

5. Using this site

  • You must not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, to interfere with its security or operation, or to copy or scrape its content.
  • Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
  • We may update this site, these terms and our prices at any time. The terms in force when you reserve a piece apply to that reservation.

6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

Subject to those rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.

7. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

9. Our other policies

Pickup and delivery follow our pickup and delivery terms. Anything else these terms don't cover follows the policies of our main store, The A2Z Furniture: its warranty policy and returns and refund policy. Where they differ, these terms, our deposit and hold terms and our refund policy apply to floor models reserved on this site. New furniture bought on thea2zfurniture.com is covered by the main store's own terms.
